Anir Experience/Anir Foundation
The Anir Foundation a (501c3) non-profit, was founded by Adrienne Belafonte Biesemeyer
along with her daughter Rachel Blue in 1997. As News broke about the HIV/AIDS
pandemic in Southern Africa, they felt they had to do something; lots of organization give
$$ to a problem, but few give man power and a chance for individuals to make a difference
with their own two hands.

Anir Experience is here to help North Americans see and to experience the beauty and
wonder of Southern Africa while truly giving a
helping hand.
Welcome to the Anir Experience:

Promoting cultural understanding one
EXPERIENCE at a time ... through socially
conscious volunteer opportunities, educational

To see the world is only the
beginning... To EXPERIENCE it...

WATCH (We are the Children)
Is TAF’s newest division, focusing on
resilient  children of conflict & strife;
concentrating on the issues and
environments surrounding the emotional
and physical wellbeing of children caught in
tribulation (political conflict, War, domestic
violence, HIV/AIDS and abject poverty), yet
show extraordinary survival skills and
emotional fortitude.

WATCH has 3 main areas:

1. to celebrate, support, and encourages the
resilience of child survivors (ages 5-25),
children who were caught in tribulation but
who have shown extraordinary survival skills
and emotional fortitude.

2. Our main drive is to combat child slavery:
child solders, prostitution, unfair labor
practices, and homelessness.

3. WATCH looks to works with other
organizations already well established who
have a success record for leading the fight
against child violence and degradation.

At present WATCH's focus is sub-equatorial
Africa. Our programs will serve:
Angola, Burundi, Democratic Republic of
Congo, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique,
Namibia, Rwanda, South Africa, Swaziland,
Tanzania, Uganda*, Zimbabwe (*Uganda
is
considered part of East Africa but inspired
the development of WATCH and so is
included in our service area).
